First let’s understand the difference between Design Space and Cricut Subscription. Design Space is a software component of Cricut experience. It is a graphic design tool that you use to upload digital files and work with them before sending a project to Cricut machine. Cricut Subscription is a service made available Design Space is available to you at all times whether you have Cricut subscription or not. If you don’t have access to that software, you will not be able to cut on your machine.

Cricut monthly subscription gives you access to paid projects. It doesn’t buy you files used in those projects. If you don’t renew your subscription, you will no longer have the ability to use those projects.
